What to expect during your first session's Yoga Therapy Assessment:

To prepare for your session, we would advise you to be in a quiet safe space.  You can have your yoga mat or a comfortable seat (chair or otherwise), bring something to drink (hot tea, water).  If it feels good, light a candle, have a journal or anything that allows you to relax.

Your Session will begin with a gentle grounding practice, reviewing your intake and goals and the first session will really support your introspective journey of self-awareness. You will have the option to have movement integrated into your session(s) if you wish as well. We will spend approximately 45 minutes in session.

If you are curious what may take place during a session, here is an example of the Yoga Therapy Session Checklist, please note, this is just an example, each session is tailored to meet your original Intake answers and your current reported needs!

Each session should be scheduled between 1-3 weeks apart if possible. Our follow up session will assess our original notes and progress if any.
